In May, Green Door Co will celebrate our three year anniversary!

From a humble start in my little terrace with the green door, in three years we have grown our team to five, moved into our office in Pyrmont, rebranded, worked with some incredible clients, and even won an award! We have a lot to celebrate – and so do our clients.

We’re thrilled to announce that two award submissions we recently completed for the Franchise Council of Australia 2017 Excellence in Franchising Awards on behalf of our client Hire A Hubby were not only shortlisted but the entrants also won!

Tim Spreadborough was recognised as QLD/NT Field Manager of the Year and Russell Hampton at Hire a Hubby Bayview was recognised as QLD/NT Single Unit Franchise with two or more staff of the Year. Well done Tim and Russell!

Writing a winning award submission is a notoriously challenging and time consuming process, but one that is well worth it to build exposure and credibility for your brand. Getting help from the experts can be a great help in getting you over the line.

Another project we’re proud of is a digital campaign we’re currently running for Lord Howe Island Tourism Association. Comprised of a competition to win a trip to this spectacular destination, social media advertising, content marketing and retargeting display ads, the campaign has been extremely successful, blitzing all KPIs. By the way, it’s not too late to enter!

Finally, we have an exciting development on the agenda which we’re sure will give us all reason to celebrate. Recognising that public relations isn’t always well understood and that there aren’t many resources out there to help, we’re designing an online program on PR for SMEs which will upskill marketing teams, small business owners and entrepreneurs in all things PR. The course will cover a wide range of topics from how to develop a PR strategy, how to write a media release and how to prepare a media list, through to understanding the link between new media and PR. Watch this space!
