The HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence are the leading industry awards in the region and celebrate the best properties, departments, people, chains, and brands in Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. Each year, more than 1,500 nominations are assessed to determine more than 40 category winners.
The International Hotel Awards were developed to identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the global hospitality industry throughout a wide range of areas.
Excellence gives restaurants, cafes and caterers well deserved recognition for their hard work, exceptional food and outstanding service in this vibrant industry. The Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence are held in each state, recognising operators in metropolitan and regional centres. The R&CA awards are the only industry awards with an independent judging system with over 280 judges reporting to state Judge Chairs and a National Chief Judge.

Each year the SHATEC Industry Excellence Award (SHINE Awards) is presented to 4 outstanding alumni recognised for their achievements and contributions to the industry.
