The AIS Sport Performance Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Australia's leading athletes, teams and coaches.
The Australian Pride in Sport Awards acknowledges achievements around the inclusion of people with diverse genders and sexualities in Australian sport. Recognising smaller clubs, LGBTQ community sport initiatives, coaches, role models, media outlets, and allies for their contributions to this space.
NSC22 is host of the Australian Sport, Recreation and Play Industry Innovation Awards, powered by NSC Innovations and Awards partner FieldTurf Tarkett. The purpose of these Industry Innovation Awards is to recognise individuals, not-for-profits, commercial, play, recreation and sport sectors, on their innovations to get more people active in the community.
The Australian Sports Medal is an award given to recognise achievements in Australian sport to commemorate Australian participation in major sporting events. Original recipients of the award included competitors, coaches, sports scientists, office holders, and people who maintained sporting facilities and services.
The Frank Stewart Distinguished Service Award is Parks and Leisure Australia's highest individual honour. It is awarded to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the development, promotion and advocacy of the parks and leisure industry through their personal and professional endeavours. The Frank Stewart Distinguished Service Award is judged by previous winners of the award and the recipient receives an Honorary Life Membership to Parks and Leisure Australia as well as a commemorative plaque.
The International Green Flag Award scheme recognises and rewards well managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational outdoor spaces around the world.
Royal Life Saving, with support from the National Aquatic Industry Committee facilitates the National Aquatic Industry Safety Awards. The awards acknowledge the achievements of aquatic facilities and their staff and provide an opportunity to formally recognise their commitment to improving health, safety and viability outcomes.
Each year, Parks and Leisure Australia acknowledges excellence in our industry through its prestigious Awards of Excellence. These annual awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding initiatives and innovative efforts of 'the people behind the places' which promote good use of leisure time for a number of social, environmental and economic benefits to the community.
Each year, as one of the most prominent events on the SA sporting calendar, the South Australian Sport Awards honours those making outstanding contributions to sport in South Australia, as individual or team athletes, coaches, administrators and volunteers from both metropolitan and regional areas of South Australia and recognises our state’s great events.
The Don Award was introduced by the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1998 and is awarded annually by the Sport Australia Hall of Fame Selection Committee to honour a current Australian athlete or team who, by their achievements and example in the last 12 months, have most inspired the nation.
The UniSport Australia Awards recognise and reward student-athletes for outstanding sporting performances and contributions to university sport.
The WA Aquatic Recreation Industry Awards, are an initiative of the Peak Body Leisure Institute of Western Australia (Aquatics) and aim to recognise individuals and teams who show innovation and best practice in the WA Aquatic Recreation Industry. The awards are designed to highlight and award excellence of individuals within the aquatic recreation industry, Aquatic Facilities, their staff and organisations and provide an opportunity to formally recognize their commitment to improving aquatic recreation communities, programs, facility operations, management and safety.
