The Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards are designed to highlight the tremendous contribution that the Higher Education sector makes to Australian prosperity and quality of life. We’re excited to recognise and celebrate excellence across this year’s eight award categories. The Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards are open to all institutions, public and private, offering AQF qualifications at associate degree level and above, and/or diplomas and advanced diplomas accredited in the Australian Higher Education sector.
The annual Australian Education Awards has been recognised as the leading independent awards event in the K-12 education sector. The awards showcase the top-performing schools, principals, department heads and teachers for their outstanding achievements and transformative work that makes a profound difference to the lives of young people across Australia. Entry needs to be officially made by a school.
Each year, Australian Schools Plus in partnership with Commonwealth Bank recognise excellent teachers and school leaders who are making a transformative and measurable impact on their students and school communities. The Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards aim to showcase Australia’s inspirational teachers, celebrate their achievements and show appreciation for the important work they do. 12 outstanding educators receive a prestigious Teaching Fellowship valued at $45,000, including $10,000 for professional development, $25,000 for a strategic school project, and the chance to join a unique group of education change-makers.
The Awards were brought to Australasia in 2010 and are delivered by our partners ACTS. The Awards are open to all tertiary education institutions in Australia and New Zealand. The Australasian Awards are managed by ACTS and governed by a cross-sector steering group. ACTS is a non-profit member based organisation representing higher and further education institutions within Australia and New Zealand. ACTS aim to inspire, promote and support change towards best practice sustainability within the operations, curriculum and research of the tertiary education sector.
The Reimagine Education Global Awards celebrate innovative pedagogies that produce improved learning and/or employment outcomes for students. US$50,000 in funding is available to the Reimagine Education Global Winners. Bronze, Silver and Gold Category Winners will be given the opportunity to showcase their innovations at the Reimagine Education Conference.
The Australian Council for Educational Leaders National Awards (ACEL) have grown in stature with educators being recognised for their contributions across six categories. We also recognise media organisations/journalists/programs that contribute significantly to raising the profile of the education sector and make valuable contributions to the national conversation via “The ACEL National Media Award’.
N.B: Please keep in mind that awards programs regularly shift their dates. New awards programs open up regularly. Established awards programs can cease running with little notice. While we endeavour to keep this list as up-to-date as possible, we can’t guarantee 100% accuracy.
