The Telstra Best Business Awards are one of the most reputable and respected business awards programs within Australia. The awards were created to give small to medium-sized businesses a platform to celebrate achievements and stories with their peers, and opportunities to learn from Australia's best business minds. The awards categories include: Outstanding Growth, Embracing Innovation, Accelerating Women, Championing Health, Building Communities, Indigenous Excellence and Promoting Sustainability. The award application process involves three phases: a questionnaire (stage 1), video submissions (stage 2) and a written submission (stage 3). The shortlisted businesses will then participate in a Q&A. Stage 1 usually opens in June and closes in July. Stage 2 usually opens and closes in August. Stage 3 usually opens and closes in September.
