Safety awards

The Australasia Fleet Safety Awards recognise the achievements of those working to help reduce the number of road crashes involving at-work drivers.

The Australian Defence Industry Awards, recognises people and businesses rather than products and platforms, the Australian Defence Industry Awards universally acknowledges all defence industry stakeholders – from primes, SMEs, academic institutions and associations through to high-performing individuals such as defence executives, Indigenous and female leaders, students, scientists, technicians and academics. The awards are open to all businesses operating in Australia supporting the defence supply chain and have become a coveted accolade for organisations and professionals.

The Australian Road Safety Awards, presented by Suncorp, are an initiative of the Australian Road Safety Foundation. The awards add to the suite of signature programs within the annual Australian Road Safety Foundation calendar of events. Providing a powerful motivation tool to further encourage ongoing professional development for corporate organisations, community engagement and individual action in reducing road trauma, the awards acknowledge the achievements of leading road safety stakeholders and provide an opportunity to formally recognise their commitment to improving road safety outcomes.

The Australian Security Industry Awards seeks to combine three industry awards programs under a single event that will bring the industry together to celebrate excellence and achievement in our industry.

The Australian Workplace Health & Safety Awards provide national recognition to organisations and individuals who are demonstrating excellence and innovation in the field of Workplace Health & Safety.

The Comcare National Work Health and Safety Awards recognise and reward excellence in workplace health and safety, recovery at and return to work achieved by employers and individuals operating across the Comcare scheme. Each of the winners and finalists highlight outstanding success in 'Creating a safer workplace together' and demonstrate the opportunity that exists to make significant impacts in enabling safe and healthy work.

The Hunter region is well-known for leading the way in industry, this in turn has led to the region becoming champions of WHS. The Hunter Safety Awards acknowledge local businesses who have integrated work, health and safety as part of their core business.

The NSCA Foundation and GIO Workers Compensation’s National Safety Awards of Excellence is Australia’s longest running and independent awards that recognises outstanding work health and safety initiatives.

The SafeWork NSW Awards recognise excellence and innovation in work health and safety (and response to COVID-19) across a broad range of industries.

The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) recognise and reward companies, people and innovation across the security sector. The OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers, to be recognised and their success to be celebrated.

WHS Awards motivate people in the workplace to maintain safe work practices and recognise the implementation and continuous improvement of your organisation’s safety management system. These awards were previously known as the Safe Way Awards.
