Objectives
For over a decade, Keeping Company has led the industry with their revolutionary use of technology and ability to embrace new ways of doing business, ways that traditional accounting firms either don’t understand or couldn’t do holistically. So they felt that including an awards program in their marketing strategy would provide recognition for the growth their effort and innovation had helped them achieve.
For Keeping Company, adding awards into the mix was building on an already strong marketing strategy, of which building and demonstrating credibility has always been an essential element. A company’s decision to change who they are investing in for accounting and advisory services often involves multiple stakeholders. So, to reach those stakeholders, Keeping Company takes a broad, multi-channel marketing approach that ultimately drives traffic to their website.

Solution
After researching who might be the right fit partner for their awards strategy, Chief Marketing Officer Tracy Miller reached out to Green Door Co.
“I knew that Green Door Co had expertise and experience. But, I also thought it might be nice to have an outside perspective.”
Green Door Co was able to present a package of suggested awards detailing the dates for submission, the cost of each entry, and what the process would look like. “It was just so thorough”, Tracy explains. “It made it easy for us to decide, yes, this is what we want to do.”
Three years and many awards later, Green Door Co gained such a deep understanding of the business and became so well integrated with the Keeping Company team that their involvement expanded into creating authority-boosting content across several of Tracy’s marketing channels, including website copy, PR, and articles.
